FIRST BAYELSA BOOK AND CRAFT FAIR







Bayelsa book & craft was funded by the Bayelsa state culture and tourism bureau, coordinated and organized by Blues and Hills consultancy, an agency with roots in scriptwriting, editorial consultancy, workshop facilitation, performing act and social action, in collaboration with ALL MEDIA INTERNATIONAL.
 The book and craft fair is a gathering of literature, film, art, and music which had its venue in no other place than the Pride of the nation Bayelsa state, yenogoa precisely.
The fair arm-wrestled with politicians, writers, musicians in the likes of Dele Momodu, Richard Mofe Damijo, Jude Dibia, Toni Kan, Ayodele Arigbabu, jumoke Verissomo, Mobolaji Adenubi, Kid M.A.R.L.E.Y, Barzini,  Toyin Akinosho the famous critic and the youngest resignee in Nigeria, Johanel and many others.
The fair also invited genius from around the globe to share in the joys of creativity, where raw and promising talent will meet authors and their manuscripts and creative writing on the go. Bond Emeruwa, a renowned director in Nollywood, Mr Naresh Sharma, the director of centre of research in art of film & TV, Delhi was not left out as they spoke on film, visual artists and the challenges involved. Tee- Mac Iseli took us on a long tour speaking about classical music and jazz.
 The fair is an annual event which has come to stay with a promise to enlighten the world about the beauty of creativity in arts and we can boldly say that it has been accepted by the people and all lovers of art.
